A Mothers Gift

Acrylic on 50cm round canvas Canvas.

This piece is about a mother passing on her wedding dress to her daughter. The dress represents the bond between Mother and daughter and also new beginnings. 
I’ve tried to capture a sense of Nostalgia and tenderness in this piece.  I have added a softness around the image to give it an ethereal feeling. 

The painting is completed with a varnish seal for protection and is ready to hang.
